- Executive Director, Vienna Laurendi
- In August of 2007, Vienna Laurendi joined CRSA and
assumed the position of Executive Director of BayWoods.
From 2000 - 2007, Vienna was the Executive Director of
Heron Point in Chestertown, Maryland. Similar to BayWoods,
Heron Point is a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC)
offering independent living, assisted living and
comprehensive nursing care. Vienna has over 40 years
experience in the health care arena to include nursing,
education, joint venture development, medical real estate
development, hospital administration and retirement
community management. In addition to the Maryland license
as a Nursing Home Administrator, Vienna's credentials
include a RN, BSN, MSN and MBA. After 21 years in the
active and reserve U.S Army, Vienna retired as a
Lieutenant Colonel. Since 2000, Vienna has enjoyed living
in Annapolis.

Gary M. Smith

Gary joined the Management Team in September 2006. He
graduated Magna Cum Laude from McMurry College (now
University) with a BA in Accounting and graduated from
the Johns Hopkins University with a Masters of
Administrative Science degree. His responsibilities
include overseeing Accounting, Finance and Management of
Information Systems at BayWoods. Gary has over 20 years
experience in the CCRC retirement industry. He and his
family reside in Carroll County.
- Director of Food and Beverages, Donn Rudiger

Donn joined the Management Team in June 2004, with over 20
years experience in hospitality and long-term care. He is
a Certified Executive Chef, Dietary Manager and Food
Protection Professional. Donn is a native of Anne
Arundel County, where he continues to reside with his wife, Lila, and
his son Kyle. Donn continues to grow and makes the
BayWoods of Annapolis dining programs which include the
catering and lounge services the best it can be for all
residents and guests.
- Director of Health and Wellness, Lynn Carr
- Lynn joined the Management Team in April 2005. She is
responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Wellness
Clinic, Nursing and Healthcare services at The Arbor.
Lynn's background is one of education, administration, and
clinical care nursing. She possesses a Bachelor of Arts
degree from the University of California, and a Master's
Degree in Education from George Washington University.
Lynn has also received a post-Master's Degree in Health
Care Administration, and most recently has received her
license as a Registered Nurse. Lynn resides in Shady Side,
Maryland.
- Director of Maintenance, John Gorman
-
John joined the Management Team in September 2003, with 9
years in the industry and holds a 4th class engineering
license. He oversees the maintenance work, emergency and
safety management for the entire building, as well as
security. John grew up in Cheverly and Bowie, Maryland.
John lives on the Eastern Shore with his wife, Sheri. They
are proud parents of twin girls, Paige and Hailey and
youngest daughter named Lindsey. John has enjoyed the
opportunity to open BayWoods as a new building and
watching it grow and take shape.

Kassie Foundos

Kassie Foundos has joined the BayWoods team as Director of
Marketing. She brings to the position over nine years of
experience in senior housing, most recently at a new
senior condominium community in Bethesda. Prior to that,
she was Vice President of Foundos Realty, a local full
service real estate brokerage and property management
company. A mother of four, any spare time is spent with
her five grandchildren.
- Director of Resident Services, Rebecca J. Crosby

Becky joined the Management Team in December 2003,
holding a Bachelor's of Science in Exercise Science and
Community Health Education from Virginia Tech. BayWoods
is the first retirement community she has worked for
where she oversees activities, fitness and wellness,
communications, the front desk, transportation, and the
volunteer programming. Becky is a native Annapolitan and
is now living on the Eastern Shore. When she's not
planning programs or spending time with the independent
residents, she enjoys being at home with her husband
Roody, and daughter Whitney Brooke.

Director of Human Resources and Executive Assistant, Donna
Parker
-
Donna joined the Management Team in April 2004. Prior to
joining BayWoods she was self-employed in a family owned
and run direct mail business for twelve years and prior to
that Donna was Executive Assistant to the President of
Booz, Allen & Hamilton. Donna lives locally in Annapolis,
has two children and two step-children and five
grandchildren. She enjoys walking, playing golf and
reading.
- Social Worker Consultant, Mary Matthews
- Mary joined the staff at BayWoods in August 2004. A licensed clinical social worker, she has served residents in continuing care retirement communities for fifteen years. She and her husband, Jay LeBow, a child psychiatrist (and yacht brokerage owner, on the side), are the parents of five children and grandparents of seven. Mary has particularly enjoyed the opportunity to develop the social services program in this beautiful community.
